Microsoft has launched a new language model, phi-3-mini, which they say matches the performance of models such as Mixtral 8x7B and GPT-3.5. They have also launched two larger models, phi-3-small and phi-3-medium, trained on 4.8 trillion tokens, which they say are more capable than the phi-3-mini.
